Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.17.0

New

  • On iOS, the leaderboards now run on Game Center, with your replays shared through iCloud.

Improved

  • Records tells you when iCloud is off and your replays are not being shared.
  • The daily Challenge screen now explains which day a run counts toward on iOS.

Fixed

  • On iOS, the daily Challenge now follows your device's clock.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.8.0

New

  • Winter on the river. From December 1 to the end of February, snow lies on the snowy rivers: snowy banks and trees, ice along the slow water, and Christmas and New Year looks at camp and on the bridges, with fireworks over the valley and sparklers at the camp fire.
  • Winter wildlife and winter folk. Cardinals, chickadees, snow hares and reindeer turn up on the banks, and the river's people wear winter clothes.
  • Winter nuisances. Snowball kids on bridges, a snowball elf behind a snow fort, a living snowman who lobs his head at passing boats, a sledding penguin who slides onto your stern, icicles under bridge decks and ice floes drifting off the banks. Each has its own sound.
  • Winter outfits. Eight winter outfits and a New Year party hat in the character settings.

Heads up

Online play changed in this version, so older builds can't join games with newer ones. Update before you play online with friends.

Last Ward

Last Ward v0.13.0

Improved

  • Many class skills now run much more smoothly, especially with a big horde on screen. Spells like Ward Sigil, Lava Flow, Conflagration, Brimstone, Nightwell, Bear Trap and Snarefield, and the Druid's Web, Storm and Thornlash, cost far less to draw.
  • Lingering status effects on enemies and floating damage numbers are lighter too, so large fights hold up better.

Fixed

  • Whirling Multitude now adds a tornado from its first rank.
  • In the Warlock's Chaos talents, Unbound now sits under Covenant.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.4.1

New

  • The Pocket TD demo is now on Steam as its own app. Its saves share Steam Cloud with the full game, so your progress carries over when you buy it.
Last Ward

Last Ward v0.12.0

New

  • On Steam for desktop, the game now reports your achievements and stats to Steam, and some achievements show a progress bar toward unlocking.

Fixed

  • On a phone held upright, an opened item in the Lockbox is no longer cut off at the bottom of the list.
Keystar

Keystar v0.9.0

Improved

  • Every difficulty is easier. The whole ladder moved down two steps, so Standard now plays like the old Cruise.
  • Learn shows your session progress as a progress track and a stepper, so it no longer looks like a row of buttons.

Fixed

  • Levels 4-5 and 4-6 and the boss levels no longer send words faster than their target pace. Bosses now take their bolts and armour into account when they send escorts.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.7.1

This build changes nothing in play. It is the first one we are delivering to testers through Steam and TestFlight.

Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.16.0

New

  • Something new is waiting at the far end of the Well Pocket. Stay in long enough and watch the horizon behind the new neon mountains. Keep your distance when it arrives.
  • The Almanac has room for one more sighting, if you are lucky enough to find it.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.4.0

New

  • Play in your language. Pocket TD now speaks German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Korean. Pick one from the language menu and we remember your choice.

Improved

  • Towers and enemies have proper names in every language, and numbers and plurals read the way you would expect.
  • Japanese and Chinese text now uses the right character shapes for each language.

Fixed

  • Long ability titles now shrink to fit instead of being cut off, and the wave preview fits on screen in every language.
  • The main menu's next-unlock line names the tower in your language.
  • Perk tags show translated words, and the curse tag keeps its colour.
  • The Almanac's Crit Lance numbers now match the actual balance.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.7.0

Online play: this version changes how online co-op works, so everyone in a crew needs to be on v0.7.0 to play together. Older versions won't match up.

New

  • A T-rex on Thunder Lizard Run. Three of them wade out from the bank to roar, bite and clamp onto boats. A swimmer it grabs gets shaken and spat back toward the middle of the river. A water gun sends it off, and if nobody has one, it gets bored and lets go.
  • Language setting. Pick English, Simplified Chinese or Japanese, and the menus, crew screens and results pages follow. Online messages show in your own language too.
  • Cabins and lake towns. Cabins now stand back from the water along the banks, and lakes have a town with docks and moored boats.

Improved

  • Halloween ghosts and witches now reach every boat, the Jet Boat included. A ghost's pass or a witch's hex briefly stops your paddles or throttle, and online guests feel it the same as the host.
  • Halloween cauldrons are a rare find now, and cobwebs hang from real trees.

Fixed

  • Bear cubs no longer wear pumpkin hats at Halloween.
  • Thunder Lizard Run keeps most of its bears.
Keystar

Keystar v0.8.0

New

  • Twenty-three new songs. Every sector now has three of its own, so neighbouring levels sound different. Learn, Endless and Daily have songs of their own too, Endless changes song from run to run, and Daily from day to day.

Improved

  • The Learn screen is simpler. One card shows what you have selected, with a single play button named for what it plays. Today's practice is one tap away, and every lesson is still open on the map below. Your daily goal, finger guide and typing speed checks now live in Stats.
  • A mine's blast reaches twice as far.
  • Missing a word no longer drops you out of the first combo level once you have reached it, and that level now starts after 3 clean words instead of 5. The music keeps its bass layer, and scores run higher for the same play.

Fixed

  • The first bars of a song no longer play with the bass, arpeggio or lead missing.
Keystar

Keystar v0.7.1

Fixed

  • On the first-launch keyboard layout screen, clicking a layout with the mouse now picks it, and clicking it again continues.
  • Sci-fi ship weapon words such as missile, torpedo and blaster are back in the word lists.
Keystar

Keystar v0.7.0

New

  • A Credits page in Help, with the notices for the word lists, fonts and engine we build on.

Improved

  • We went through every word list and took out obscure, British-spelled and unsuitable words, so what you type is friendlier and more familiar.
  • The hardest word sets are rebuilt from hand-picked lists, so even the long words are ones you will recognize.
Keystar

Keystar v0.6.0

New

  • Endless and Daily bring every enemy. All seven kinds now show up. In Endless they arrive as you climb, and in Daily each day picks its own three.
  • Daily is now a timed run. You get 150 seconds, and faster typing earns a higher score.

Improved

  • More time to type in the campaign. Enemies approach 25% slower at every difficulty. The same number of them come, you just have longer on each word.
  • Endless and Daily keep the screen busy. New enemies arrive quickly when you clear the field, so there are fewer empty moments.
  • The web version loads faster. It downloads about half as much as before.

Fixed

  • Web updates no longer serve stale files, so you get the latest version right away.
Keystar

Keystar v0.5.0

New

  • Five new enemies arrive across sectors 2 to 5 and stay for every sector after.
  • Splitter breaks into two Darts when you type it down.
  • Mine blasts every enemy near it when you type it.
  • Lancer takes aim, then dashes at your ship.
  • Carrier launches Darts and carries two-word phrases.
  • Weaver sways from side to side as it comes in.

Improved

  • Sector 5 number words are shorter and easier to read.
  • The whole campaign is retuned around how people really type numbers, symbols and capitals.
  • Sector 6 on Hard can now be beaten at about 150 WPM.
  • Stats now include your campaign history from before v0.4.0, added once.

Fixed

  • Boss fights no longer crowd the screen with more enemies than usual.
  • The Lancer warning now stays on screen.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.3.1

New

  • Steam leaderboards are now on for everyone. The Daily, Weekly and Endless boards (a separate Endless board for each difficulty) are live on Steam, and the Watch button on a row lets you play that run back as a spectator. They show up while Steam is running.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.3.0

New

  • Global leaderboards for Daily, Weekly and Endless runs, on Steam and in Game Center on iPhone and iPad. Endless has a separate board for each difficulty.
  • Watch other players' runs. Press Watch on a leaderboard row to play that run back in the game as a spectator. Watch is offered only where the run's replay was saved. A run from another version of the game may not play back the same, and the game tells you when that happens.

Improved

  • More of your lifetime numbers now show on your Steam profile: time played, gold earned, enemies leaked, bosses killed, best chain and daily runs.
Keystar

Keystar v0.4.0

New

  • Sector bosses. The last level of each of the six sectors ends in a boss fight. Every boss has its own look and its own sounds. Type the words on its armour to break it apart, then type the sentence in its core. It fires single letters at you, so shoot them down before they land.
  • What's New screen. Read these notes in the game, from the version number on the title or from Help.
  • Support and Privacy links on Help.

Improved

  • Everything you play now counts toward Stats and the weak-key drill: the campaign, Endless, Daily and Calibrate.
  • Sector names on the star map are easier to read.
  • The title menu fits every window size, so Quit is always on screen.
Keystar

Keystar v0.3.0

New

  • Stats screen. See your strengths and weaknesses for each keyboard layout, a heatmap of every key, and a trend chart of your progress. A DRILL button starts practice on your weakest keys.
  • Help screen. Explains each mode and the basics, from the title and the pause menu.
  • Mouse support on the star map and Learn screen. Hover and click to pick a level or lesson.
  • Every sector has its own colour, on the star map and in the sky of its levels.
  • Downloads for Mac and Windows. The Mac app is signed and notarized.

Improved

  • Music starts faster and the game no longer stutters while it loads, on the web and on desktop.
  • Sound comes back after you switch to another tab and return.
  • Sharing the web game now shows a better link preview with our cover art.

Fixed

  • Leftover enemies no longer show up behind the Endless and Daily results.
Keystar

Keystar v0.2.0

New

  • Menu music. A calm theme plays on the title, layout, Learn and star map screens, and fades out when a level or lesson starts.
  • A FINGERS setting lets you hide the finger guide in Learn lessons.
  • The mouse cursor hides while you type and comes back when you move the mouse.

Improved

  • Every results screen now ends with a MENU button back to the title, and menus group their choices more clearly.
  • Progress and settings are saved more reliably in the web version.

Fixed

  • The splash screen now fills the whole window at any shape, with no black bars.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.2.2

Behind-the-scenes fixes and improvements.

Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.2.1

Fixed

  • This update gets the iPhone and iPad version and the signed Mac build out the door. There are no changes to the game itself.
Keystar

Keystar v0.1.0

Welcome to Keystar, a full-screen neon space typing game that teaches you to touch type. Enemies carry words: type a word to lock on and destroy it.

  • Learn to touch type with guided lessons for QWERTY, Dvorak and Colemak, with a daily practice session and a goal you set yourself.
  • Play the campaign across 36 levels. Every level is open from the start, and your stars and best scores are kept on your device.
  • Go Endless, take on the Daily, or Calibrate to find your typing speed.
  • Make it yours with text size, colour-blind-friendly palettes, a dyslexia-friendly font choice, reduced motion and separate music and effects volume.
  • Plays on a keyboard or touch screen, with an on-screen keyboard when you have no hardware keyboard.
Last Ward

Last Ward v0.11.0

New

  • On iPhone and iPad, Last Ward is now free to play. Explore the Breachwood as the Warden, then unlock the full game with one purchase whenever you're ready. You can restore a purchase from Settings.
  • Game Center achievements on iPhone and iPad. Your progress now reports to Game Center as you play.

Improved

  • iCloud save sync on iPhone and iPad has been rebuilt so your progress stays safe when you play on more than one device.

Fixed

  • On the Depart screen, pressing Enter or A on Sigils now opens Sigils instead of setting off on an expedition.

For iOS testers: the app now has a new App Store identity, so it installs as a new app and saves from the old TestFlight build don't carry over. iOS 17 or later is now required.

Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.2.0

New

  • Free version on iPhone and iPad. Tutorial and Expedition are free, with the starter towers. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks every other mode and tower.
  • iCloud sync on iPhone and iPad. Your profile follows you between devices. If two devices have both been played, we ask which progress to keep, and the prompt starts on "Decide later" so a stray tap never overwrites anything.
  • Game Center achievements on iPhone and iPad.

Improved

  • Every achievement now has its own icon, framed by how many points it is worth.
  • On iPhone and iPad, the game turns to either landscape side.
  • The Trials description now counts all of the Trials.

Fixed

  • A run that ends in its first few seconds no longer hangs when you quit.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.15.0

New

  • Game Center achievements on iPhone and iPad. We now sign you in to Game Center and unlock achievements as you earn them, with progress shown for the ones you're working toward. Hidden achievements stay hidden until you find them.
  • In the free edition, achievements start counting toward Game Center once you unlock the full game.

Improved

  • Settings has a new ACCOUNT section on iPhone and iPad for iCloud and Restore Purchases, and a new ABOUT section for Release notes.

Fixed

  • iCloud sync is more reliable when two of your devices upload the same progress at the same time.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.14.1

Behind-the-scenes fixes to how the iPhone and iPad version is built. There are no gameplay changes.

Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.14.0

New

  • iCloud saves on iPhone and iPad. Your scores, lifetime stats, unlocked ships, ship mastery, Almanac sightings and achievement progress now sync between your devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
  • Each device keeps its own selected ship and its own settings, so you can set up your iPhone and iPad the way you like them.
  • Settings now has an iCloud line that tells you whether syncing is working.
  • Progress on Steam and progress in iCloud stay separate and do not sync with each other.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.13.0

New

  • Bullet Glory now has a free edition: play Circuit with the Arrow, then unlock the full game from inside it whenever you like. Your scores and progress carry across.
  • In the free edition, choosing Endless, the Gauntlet, the daily Challenge or another ship shows everything the full game adds, and one press takes you straight back to Circuit.
  • Settings has a Restore Purchases option where your store supports it.
Pocket TD

Pocket TD v0.1.0

Welcome to the first release of Pocket TD, an isometric tower defense where you build a growing map, pick your perks and hold the line against bosses.

New

  • Expedition mode: a map that grows as you play, with branching paths, perk cards every few waves, and a bonus pick after each boss.
  • Towers and upgrades: a roster of towers with branching upgrades, powerful capstone abilities, and a global strike you can call down when things go wrong.
  • Bosses, biomes and hazards: every biome has its own look, hazard and boss, with intro cards and an Almanac to learn what you are facing.
  • More ways to play: endless runs, a daily seed, challenge modifiers, trials with named rules, and achievements to chase.
  • Play your way: controller support, Steam Deck and iPhone layouts, rebindable keys, adjustable text size and a What's new screen.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.12.0

New

  • Almanac: a new screen in the main menu (press M, or View on a controller) with cards for every enemy, boss, skill, stage and event. Each card unlocks the first time you meet it in a run and tells you what it does and how to answer it. Enemy and boss cards also count how many you have defeated.
  • Release notes in Settings: read what changed in each version without leaving the game.

Improved

  • After a new best, the leaderboard now says it is submitting your score instead of showing you as not ranked yet, and tells you if it is retrying or you are offline.
  • A short message now appears on any menu screen when your score lands on a leaderboard, with your rank, marked RANKED when you place in the top 50.
Last Ward

Last Ward v0.10.1

Improved

  • The Character tab's bag is tidier: the sort options sit beside the Bag heading, so you no longer scroll to reach them.
  • Picking an item in your bag shows one description below the bag instead of two, and the comparison there now includes the item's Power. The separate Compare option on this tab is gone, since the comparison is always shown.
  • The Contracts tab in the Refuge now sits just before Records.

Fixed

  • Warlock summons, from Raise Dead and the Revenant, now last their full life instead of being replaced moments after they rise.
Last Ward

Last Ward v0.10.0

New

  • Every translated language can now be chosen in Settings, and we've improved the translations.
  • Settings has a Release notes section where you can read what changed in each update.

Improved

  • On touch and iPhone, long lists in the Refuge page with a tap or a swipe, and the tabs stay clear of rounded corners and the camera cutout.
  • On the Character screen, at the Wardwork bench, at the Altar and in the Bag during an expedition, an item's actions only appear after you pick it. Contracts keep their details in one fixed place, and Wardwork recipes say whether you Learn or Craft them.
  • The Refuge now asks before spending on a respec or at the Altar.
  • Switching Refuge tabs is quicker, and skill effects no longer hitch the first time they appear in an expedition.

Fixed

  • On touch, the Bag and Pause buttons stay visible during an expedition, talents unlock with a single tap, and the results screen scrolls properly.
  • The level-up draft no longer offers skills from your own class.
  • Choosing Keep when deleting a character now returns you to that character.
Last Ward

Last Ward v0.9.0

Welcome to Last Ward. You leave the Refuge, humanity's last warded sanctuary, to fight through the horde on expeditions into corrupted wilds, then make it back alive with what you found.

  • Classes, each with its own weapon and skills. Your weapon fights on its own; you aim it, dodge and fire your skills.
  • Expeditions into large generated maps. Cleanse the site at the heart of each map, take on optional side objectives and bosses, then reach the Wardgate before the horde closes in. The Shifting Ward is an endless run of short fragments for when you want to see how deep you can go.
  • The Refuge between runs. Painted, lit rooms where you create characters at the hearth, spend talents, unlock skills, and store, craft and empower your gear.
  • Play your way. Keyboard and mouse, controller with Steam Deck support, and touch controls on iPhone.
  • Translated into a range of languages.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.11.0

Bullet Glory v0.10.0

New

Improved

  • Your lifetime stats are now shared with Steam.
  • Leaderboards and your local bests start fresh with this version, so every score from here on can be compared fairly.

Fixed

Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.9.0

New

  • 80 achievements on Steam, with new icons, covering ships, mastery, per-difficulty scores and the Well Pocket.
  • Daily Challenge leaderboards. Your best score of the day is submitted to that day's global board, and Records DAILY now has a GLOBAL view.
  • Ten more languages. The LANGUAGE setting now offers eleven languages in all.

Improved

  • The daily Challenge briefing now shows your best score of the day and your replay of it is kept.
  • Clearer messages when Steam doesn't answer.

Fixed

  • No daily leaderboard is shown while Steam's clock is unknown, so scores can't land on the wrong day.
Bullet Glory

Bullet Glory v0.8.0

Welcome to Bullet Glory, a neon, fireworks-bright bullet hell where every skill fires itself and moving is the whole game.

  • Weave and score. Dodge through screens full of enemy fire, sweep up shards, and cancel bullets into showers of points.
  • Pick up skills mid-run by driving over them. There are no menus to open while you play.
  • Ships to unlock. Earn new hulls with high scores and pick one in the Hangar. Each has its own charge ability.
  • Three ways to play and a daily Challenge. Endless, Circuit and Gauntlet runs, plus a new Challenge every day.
  • Play your way. Controller, touch or keyboard, with leaderboards and replays.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.6.0

New

  • Halloween on the river. In October the rivers turn to autumn, with golden trees and russet ground, gravestones, cobwebs, ghosts, bats, crows and glowing wisps. Camp is dressed for the season, and the people on the banks wear costumes. The autumn trees stay through November.
  • Costumes for your crew. Every player wears one of twelve Halloween costumes while the season is on.
  • Six spooky river hazards. A spider web catches your boat until it tears. A dropping spider stops a seat's paddling until it is washed off. A sheet ghost drifts through and saps your crew's stamina. A cauldron witch ladles a slick that halves your strokes. A zombie wades out and holds on until it is shaken off. A broom witch's spin hex takes a crew's stroke for a few seconds.
  • Grab crates by hand. A crewmate can lift a crate aboard when it is right against the hull on their side.

Improved

  • Boats get a kick off the lip of a ramp, so a fast Jet Boat really flies.
  • Swimmers can sprint for longer.
  • Each local player can change their character with Y, and their card says so.
  • Online co-op holds up better through a stalled connection.
  • Release notes are now in Settings.

Fixed

  • Each player now shows under one name, their character's, everywhere it appears.
  • A saved camp remembers its season, and everyone online sees the season the host is playing.
  • Separate boats on one device each get their own view.

The season setting turns all of the Halloween changes off.

Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.5.0

Improved

  • Boats now push floating crates aside instead of passing through them. The crate bobs off, your boat barely notices, and you can still fish it out. Swimmers can nudge crates too.

Fixed

  • Small creeks that join a river no longer stand still. They now flow at a believable pace below their falls.
  • Fallen trees that block the river now look right: one straight trunk leaning from the bank into the water, instead of a kinked trunk lying along the ground.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.4.0

New

  • Crates on the river. Crates float up as you go, and your crew can reel them in for an item.
  • Tie boats together. Throw a rope across to another boat and, if someone aboard catches it, the two boats are linked and drag each other along. Hold the bow line button to let go.
  • Guests can choose how many bots crew a boat when playing online.

Improved

  • Crew bots now only rescue swimmers from their own boat, leaving other boats' swimmers to their own crews.
  • The bank fisherman's bob now drifts with the current, and he casts again from a new spot each time.

Fixed

  • When some boats made camp in online co-op, other boats still on the river could freeze. They now keep running, and only the boats tied off at camp stay put.
  • On Easy, the boat no longer shows a water gauge when no water comes in.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.3.0

New

  • Jumping out of the boat is now a little hop over the side, the same for every animal.
  • Online co-op: everyone in the crew plays the host's season.

Improved

  • New players start on Easy.
  • The camera no longer shakes when someone falls out of the boat.
  • Climbing back in after a jump or a bump no longer earns rescue points.

Fixed

  • Resuming a run from camp now scores your rope rescues correctly.
  • Online co-op: picking a seat after a boat is removed no longer puts you in the wrong boat.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.2.0

New

  • Hold B to jump out of the boat as a swimmer, and a swimmer can climb into an AI crewmate's seat, sending the bot into the water.
  • Paint your boat: pick a main and a trim colour. Any player can also add, change or remove boats and keep everyone seated.
  • The end-of-run crew sheet ranks the boats by finish, the HUD shows each boat's health, and you can head back out on the river after a finished run.
  • Rivers have twice as many bridges, and the balloon throwers on them turn round to throw at boats that have gone under.
  • Water temperature now follows each river's climate, and the loading screen names the run's difficulty.
  • Fishing casts reach farther, and the camp camera pulls back to keep the cast in frame.

Improved

  • A boat with only AI crew now fights off every nuisance on the river.
  • Pressing a stroke button puts you straight back on the paddle, oars or helm.

Fixed

  • Hippos now come up in a patch that fits them, with a matching shadow.
  • On Easy, no water comes into your boat.
  • Bears back off after a knockdown and leave that person alone for a bit.
  • Dinosaurs move smoothly for everyone in online co-op.
  • The music keeps playing on the end-of-run cards.
  • The map shows island camps in the middle of the river and no longer counts the take-out beach as a camp.
Otter Nonsense

Otter Nonsense v0.1.0

Otter Nonsense is a co-op river-running game. A crew of up to four animals runs rivers in kayaks, tubes, rafts and homemade boats, camps on the bank, gears up and goes again.

  • Run rivers solo with an AI crew, or with friends on the couch, online, or both at once.
  • Pick your animal from a roster that includes a fox, a sloth and a red panda.
  • Fish from your seat or from the bank at camp, and keep a log of what each animal has caught.
  • Pick Easy, Medium or Hard before a run to set how hard the river bites.
  • Look out for hippos, gators and bears, and keep a water gun handy.
