Touch typing · Neon vector shooter

Learn to type. Then shoot the words.

Keystar teaches touch typing. Learn is the main track, with lessons for QWERTY, Dvorak and Colemak and a finger guide to show where each key lives.

When you want to play, an optional neon shooter sends enemies that each carry a word. Type a word to lock on and destroy it: every correct key is a shot, from a calm 25 words a minute to a firestorm at 150.

v0.9.0

Improved

  • Every difficulty is easier. The whole ladder moved down two steps, so Standard now plays like the old Cruise.
  • Learn shows your session progress as a progress track and a stepper, so it no longer looks like a row of buttons.

Fixed

  • Levels 4-5 and 4-6 and the boss levels no longer send words faster than their target pace. Bosses now take their bolts and armour into account when they send escorts.
