What are the controls?
Your weapon fires on its own. You choose where to move and which way to face, and if you do not aim, you face the nearest enemy.
- Controller: the left stick moves, the right stick aims, the left trigger dodges, and the shoulder buttons use your class skills. The button prompts match Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo controllers.
- Keyboard and mouse: WASD moves and the mouse cursor aims. I opens your bag during an expedition. You can change the keys in Settings, under Controls. To change controller buttons, use Steam Input.
- iPhone and iPad: two on-screen sticks, a skill bar, and prompts you can tap. Hold a phone upright and the game switches to a split screen.
Does it work on Steam Deck?
Yes. It is designed for the Deck’s screen and plays on the built-in controls with the controller layout above.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device. On Steam, Steam Cloud also keeps your progress, so it follows you to another PC or a Steam Deck. On iPhone and iPad, iCloud keeps it, so it follows you to your other Apple devices signed in to the same iCloud account. Settings stay on each device. Progress does not move between Steam and iOS.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. On iPhone and iPad the game is free to try, and one purchase unlocks the full game. On Steam the free demo is its own download, and the full game is a separate purchase on Steam.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone or iPad?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, then open Settings in the game and choose Restore purchase.
How do I report a bug?
Email us with:
- what you were doing, and what you expected to happen
- your class, and where you were: the Refuge or an expedition, and which area
- your device and system: Windows, Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, iPhone or iPad, and its version
- whether you were using a controller, a keyboard and mouse, or touch
- the game version, if you can see one
- a screenshot, if it helps
